Supported Revit versions for PipeEX PCF Export

This page summarizes the Revit versions PipeEX PCF Export targets and the validation steps teams should perform before rolling the add-in out to production users.

PipeEX PCF Export is publicly listed for Revit 2026, 2025, 2024, and 2023; your installer or license communication remains the contractual source for exact build requirements.

Revit version support matrix

Revit 2026: Supported. Use the current PipeEX PCF Export installer for Revit 2026 and validate a representative PCF before project rollout.

Revit 2025: Supported. Standard support for active teams that have not moved every project to Revit 2026.

Revit 2024: Supported. Common on multi-year engineering projects; confirm the installed PipeEX PCF Export package matches the Revit year.

Revit 2023: Supported. Confirm exact build and installer package before deployment, especially in locked-down enterprise environments.

Installer requirement

Use the PipeEX PCF Export installer package intended for the Revit year on the workstation. Do not copy add-in files between Revit year folders unless support explicitly tells you to do so.

For IT deployment, record the Revit year, full build number from Help > About Autodesk Revit, Windows version, PipeEX PCF Export installer version, and license type before opening a support request.

Platform notes

PipeEX PCF Export is a Windows Revit add-in. Revit LT, non-Windows environments, and unsupported Revit year releases should not be treated as supported unless agreed in writing.

If your license letter, download page, or commercial communication names a narrower set of supported builds, follow that document for contractual compliance.

Rollout validation checklist

Before a broad rollout, install PipeEX PCF Export on one workstation for each active Revit year and export a representative PCF from a model that contains normal project content.

Open the PCF in Plant 3D, CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, or the target downstream tool, then record connectivity, component identity, line data, coordinates, and required attributes.

Repeat the check after major Revit upgrades, PipeEX PCF Export installer updates, or company family/template changes.
